Feldspar began its journey under the name of Feldspar Excavating & Redi-mix in 1979. It was founded by the Kohlruss band of brothers, with a common interest in all aspects of the construction industry. Once builders themselves, erecting such structures as churches, schools and hospitals through out Saskatchewan, they saw a need for the supply of excavating and aggregate services within the industry. Thus was born Feldspar Excavating & Redi-mix. In the decades to follow they operated as a family-owned business providing excavating services and aggregate supply to residential, commercial, agricultural, and oil field sectors in Lloydminster & surrounding areas. In time they saw another need, and in 1984 they expanded their operations with the addition of a Redi-Mix Concrete Plant.

Today, with over 4 decades of experience and knowledge, Feldspar continues its dedication to its customers with one of the newest, state of the art concrete plants in Western Canada, along with such additional services as concrete pumping, pile drilling, snow removal, rip rap and custom aggregate production.
